Pause, Breathe, Pray
Spiritual practices help us create space to open ourselves to God. In this practice, we will practice inviting God into our responses to others. We can choose to be people who step back, take a breath, and pray BEFORE we respond when someone does or says something we don’t like those three simple steps will be our practice for the week. When you’re tempted to speak before you think, instead (1) pause, (2) take a breath, and (3) pray BEFORE you respond.
