10 Tips for a Better Quiet Time in 2017

Maybe you are a little like me and getting into the habit of daily Bible reading and prayer has been a struggle for you.  It was always something that I knew should be a part of my daily walk.  I knew it would draw me into a closer relationship with my Heavenly Father.  I also knew it was one of the most powerful ways to really connect with the heart of God.

But knowing and doing are two totally different things…

It took lots of trial and error to find the way that I was best able to really make my quiet time meaningful.  I’m so glad I took the time to figure out what works best for me, because cultivating that daily time has been the biggest catalyst for change in my heart and in my life.

As this New Year dawns, many of us are looking for resolutions that will truly change our lives. I encourage you to consider making a daily, meaningful quiet time spent in Bible reading and prayer one of your resolutions in 2017.
